|Today I will continue talking to you about different traffic generation tactics that will allow you to build the hugely successful online business you want to build. There is no magical formula to build the traffic you need. There is only a rational, practical traffic plan that will take you to the top. On my last post, I talked about solo ads. I am trying to cover these traffic tactics based on their overall effectiveness. Well, after solo ads, I believe that Pay-Per-Click is the next MOST EFFECTIVE tactic. With this strategy, you are able to set up an ad, determine your marketing budget, and then pay the search engine for each click that is generated to your site. Like I mentioned before, in order to be highly effective with this strategy, you must send the traffic to a CAPTURE page where you will collect the email and name of your visitors.
The reason this strategy is so effective is that it is driven by the keyword searches of search engine users. Because they use specific keywords to find your ads, these leads are highly targeted, and this gives you an excellent opportunity to promote your services or products to people who are actually looking for them.
The next traffic strategy I want to cover is SAFELISTS. Safelists are similar to SOLO ADS. With this strategy you are agreeing to read the e-mails of other marketers in exchange for them reading yours. So, you are basically part of a network of marketers who read each other’s marketing e-mails. It is a very effective strategy because you are already dealing with business minded individuals instead of a cold market of prospects who might not have the right mindset.
Traffic exchanges are another great tool that you can use to drive targeted traffic to your website. With traffic exchanges you agree to view the website of other marketers in exchange for them viewing yours. This traffic can be very difficult to convert into qualified prospects. The key is to promote a capture page rather than a full business website. The reason why you want to promote a capture page is that you want to get the attention of your visitors within the first 5 seconds. A capture page is just a short, direct marketing page where you collect the e-mail and name of your visitors.
The next strategy I use if Facebook groups. There are so many Facebook groups you can join, regardless of what kind of market you are in. With the amount of traffic Facebook receives, you would have to be a fool to not take advantage of this POWERFUL social media tool. So, I recommend joining Facebook groups that are related to your market and then posting valuable content that helps you build your brand and that establishes you as an authority figure.
