Stop Being Boring
We live in an age where people’s attention span is shrinking day by day, so it is vital that your marketing message is fun and exciting, and not dull and uninteresting. Are your products and/or services boring? If the answer is yes, then you need to do some serious modifications to your business plan. The thing is that you have to educate your prospects, but people will only want to learn if the process of learning is fun and exciting. If this is not the case, your audience will simply get tired of your message. Don’t be afraid to share yourself with your prospects; this will allow you to connect with people, and they will feel inspired to follow you.
You Must Connect
If you have a business, you obviously want people to buy from you. However, there is an obvious problem. People will generally not buy from someone they don’t know, like and trust. Therefore, it is important to master how to get people to know, like and trust you. You can only achieve this if you manage to connect with your audience. In order to connect with your audience, they need to believe that you can relate with them. You need to understand how they think and feel. Make sure that in your marketing you are communicating that you have experienced some of the same issues they are experiencing, and that you can help them overcome those issues. Always come across as you are a real person, and not some phony salesperson.
