Today I will continue talking about an important skill you need to master to take your business to the next level: persuasion. Perhaps you don’t quite feel that you have it in you to become a master persuader. This is nonsense. Anyone can reach the pinnacles of persuasion.

It must all begin with a mindset shift. When I talk about persuasion I am not talking about learning to manipulate someone. I am talking about learning the art of connection. I am talking about learning how to tap into the minds and hearts of your audience. When you discover how to do this it won’t matter if you are a complete unknown or if you don’t have the most advanced website. You will become a true magician of persuasion.
Who Are You?
Let me ask you an important question. Who exactly are you? Are you the persuader or the one being persuaded? If you open your eyes you will see that in most human interactions someone is persuading and someone is being persuaded, wether we are talking about parent-children, spouse, or boss-employee relationships. So, why not decide that, from this point forward, you will the one doing the persuading?
The Power Of Improvement
I want to share with you a little secret. If you implement this little secret for the rest of your life, you will arrive at places you never thought possible. I am talking about constant, never-ending self improvement. I’m not even talking about massive or radical improvement. I am talking about steady, incremental self-improvement. If you only improve 2% a month, by the end of 12 months you will be, not 24% better, but 26.82% better. This is because of the awesome power of compounding interest. So, don’t seek to master persuasion in one week. Set out on a journey that will incrementally get you where you wish to go. Your competitors won’t know what hit them.
If you want to master persuasion, you need to throw logic out the window. People don’t generally use logic to buy. Instead, it is vital that you master how to tap into people’s emotions. You need to activate the brain switches that make people buy from you. You must become a marketing scientist that deeply understands mind and heart.
