This is part 7 in this series that I have covered over the last few months on how to attract more money into your life. If you missed part 6, you can read it here. Today, I will be revealing to you more unique and valuable concepts that will enable you to design the life you want and have the amount of money you desire.
Money Is Not Bad
It troubles me to a great degree when I hear sayings like “money is the root of all evil.” This kind of misguided saying heavily implies that money is bad, but this is not one bit true. It is ridiculous to reach the conclusion that an inanimate object can be either good or bad. A gun, for example, will not just shoot itself. It actually needs someone to pull the trigger, and that someone could do so to commit murder or for self-defense. The context truly matters. In the same way, money can be used for both good or bad. It all depends on what kind of person gets access to the money.
What Is Bad
It is not money that is bad. It is a sickening obsession with money that is actually bad. Money becomes a problem when it becomes your God and you place it before anything else in your life. When you start to neglect your loved ones or your health because you are pursuing money, now money truly becomes a problem.
The Power Of 10%
The Bible teaches us that we must give the first 10% of our money to God. This is a practice that is highly encouraged in many Christian churches around the world. There are cynical people who believe that this is just some deceitful ploy by churches to raise money. However, there is a great symbolic power in this practice. You see, when you give the first 10% of your income to God, you are sending the message that you place spiritual matters before material matters. You are showing that you have your priorities straight, and this will lead to a life of fulfillment.
When To Give
Many are on board with this idea of giving, but they convince themselves that they are going to start giving once they make more money. However, this is completely backwards. You don’t give when you are rich; you are rich because you give. Yes, we must start to form good habits of giving even when we don’t have much to give. If you can’t start with 10%, you can certainly start with 1% and scale your way up. Virtually anyone can give 1% of their income.
It’s All About Attitude
At the end of the day, when it comes to money, it all comes down to what attitude you choose to have towards it. Will you choose to have a positive and constructive view towards money, or will you choose to have a negative and destructive view towards it? The choice you make will determine your future. I encourage you to develop a positive view towards money.
Final Words Of Wisdom
In the Bible, the book of Proverbs, Chapter 3, Verse 9 says the following: “Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase…” As we can see, this verse is the essence of what I have been covering in this post. What does the Bible says will happen if we give to God first? Verse 10 answers like this: “So your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.” Yes, there are great rewards to those who choose to place spiritual matters first. I challenge you to do so and you will never have to worry about money again.
