SINGLE POST The Hidden Mysteries Of Money (Part 6)

Over the last few months I have been going into how to attract money and success into your life. Today I present to you the sixth secret that you must understand and apply if you want to create the life you desire. If you missed part 5, you can read it here.

Why Atheists Are Wrong

Atheists like to make the claim that there more than likely is no God, but I am here to tell you why they are wrong. Sure, you can claim there is no God, but how do you invest your money and in what? If I decide to invest most of my money in drugs and alcohol, am I not making this some form of god? Tell me how someone invests most of their money and I will tell you what it is they mostly value in their lives and what it is they have turned into their god.

The Great Difference

There is a great difference in how the rich invest their money compared to the poor. This is one of the many factors that sets them apart. Generally, the rich invest their money in things of great value; they invest in things that bring great benefits to the rest of humanity. The poor, on the other hand, generally invest in things that will give them instant and personal gratification. Because they generally lack a long-term perspective, they end up poor. I will now reveal to you the different ways human beings invest their money, and the consequences of those choices.

Investment #1: Things That Lose Value

The less successful people typically invest in things that lose value. If you go out to have a great meal, you will certainly have a great time, but you are investing in something that has no long lasting value. If you buy a car, though a great experience, you are investing in something that will lose value as soon as you drive it out of the dealership. I’m not saying you shouldn’t enjoy these things and have a balanced life. I’m just saying that unsuccessful individuals usually spend most of their money in these things.

Investment #2: Things That Gain Value

The more successful individuals usually invest in things that gain value. For example, if you buy a home, you are investing in something that will probably increase in value. If you invest in the stock market, there is a very good chance that your money will increase over time. Because successful people invest most of their money in these types of endeavors, they enjoy the massive success that they do.

Investment #3: The Greatest Of All

Most people are aware of the first 2 types of investments, yet are quite unaware of a third and superior way to invest your money. It is a way that will give you incredible rewards, elevating your life in ways you cannot possibly imagine. In order to reveal this great way, I will take you to an ancient book of wisdom: the book of Proverbs in the Bible.

Proverbs Chapter 19, Verse 17

“He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and he will pay back what he has given.” Yes, the third and greatest way to invest your money is to help the poor, or those who are in need. This is one of the greatest secrets of the ages. Notice that the Bible says that if you help the poor, it won’t be the poor who pay you back, but God himself. This is powerful.

Proverbs Chapter 14, Verse 31

“He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker, but he who honors Him has mercy on the needy.” Again, the Bible tells us that if you oppress the poor, you are reproaching God. On the other hand, if you have mercy on the needy, you are literally honoring God. It couldn’t be any more clear.

Proverbs Chapter 11, Verses 24 And 25

“There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty. The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.” Basically, this section begins by telling us that those who give actually increase their possessions, while those who don’t give end up poor. We are told that if we are generous souls, we will be made rich. This is an amazing concept.

Proverbs Chapter 28, Verse 27

“He who gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have many curses.” Once again, the message of the Bible when it comes to money could not be clearer. If you help the poor, you will not live in a world of scarcity, but in a world of prosperity.

Proverbs Chapter 3, Verses 9 And 10

“Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase, so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.” Yes, if we honor God and we live following higher principles, we will enjoy a life of amazing abundance. We must never forget to help those who are in need. This is the sixth secret my friends: help the poor, and not only will you live a life of prosperity, but you will honor God, the great provider of life and wisdom.
