SINGLE POST How To Create Magnetic Subject Lines For Your Email Marketing Campaigns

Over my last 2 blog posts I gave you powerful tips to succeed with email marketing. Today I will be giving you 3 more tips on this subject. On my first post on this subject I talked about mistakes you needed to avoid. On my second post I talked about what kind of content you needed to include within your emails. Today I will focus on what kind of subject lines you need to use and how to get people to want to open your emails in general.

Tip #1: The Subject Line

The subject of your emails has one important purpose: to get people to open your emails. You want to make sure that you create curiosity. For example, if I was offering guitar lessons online and was emailing my list regarding what was my favorite music scale, an example of a bad subject line would be: “Discover why the “C” scale is my favorite.”

The reason this is a bad subject line is that you do not create curiosity. You are giving away too much in the subject line. A better subject line would be: “The best scale to play on guitar.” Now, you create curiosity because you are not giving away the answer in the subject line and people will want to open the email to find out what the best scale is.

Tip #2: Make Them Open More Emails

It is important to have the right subject lines, but it is also important to know how to get people to read more of your emails. The best way to do this is to create continuity. For example, if you are sharing the top 5 foods to burn fat fast, you want to split this into 5 separate emails. The first email would read: “The Top 5 Foods To Burn Fat Fast: Food #1.” The second email would be: “The Top 5 Foods To Burn Fat Fast: Food #2.” You will continue to do this until you get to #5.

By numbering your emails you will get them to open more emails because if they don’t, they will miss out on one of the tips, and if they open #3 but did not open #2, they will want to search through their emails to find it. Also, you want to end your emails by telling them what is coming next. So, in the example provided here, your first email with end with this statement: “Don’t miss my next email coming to you in 3 days where I will give you the second food to burn fat fast.” Now, they will be looking forward to opening your next email.

Tip #3: Create A Personal Connection

Make sure that you personalize your emails by having your name appear in the “from” section of the email. You don’t want your email to say “from: Fat Loss International.” You want it saying “from: Alexander Marquez.” Obviously, you will replace Alexander Marquez with your own name. This will make you a real person in the eyes of your prospects. Also, within your emails always be yourself. Don’t pretend to be someone your are not. Let your personality shine and people will feel connected to you.

In Conclusion

If you follow these 3 tips, along with the other tips I have given you in the previous 2 posts, you will generate incredible results in your email marketing campaigns. Remember to create short and effective emails. Don’t write too much because people will lose focus. I usually make my emails no more than 300 words long.
